Client feedbackWhen I finally agreed to get help with my OCD, I was still very hesitant and whilst I knew I needed help I was very skeptical that anyone would be able to help me, especially during the pandemic.
With any form of therapy, you need a therapist that you can trust and open up to. My first consultation with Romina changed my skeptical perspective, and I immediately knew that I would be able to trust and open up to her.
All I can say is that the change I feel within myself, and the changes my family see in me is all testimate to Romina. EMDR is an amazing tool in her arsenal, and that combined with her lovely manner, and ability to get me to open up and make changes have reduced my OCD and anxieties to a manageable level despite the ongoing pandemic.

Client feedbackHaving suffered recurring bouts of anxiety with occasional panic attacks, I decided it was time to seek therapy. I was familiar with the Person-centred therapy model but had never had a course of CBT.
I found it to be very helpful. Romina's empathy and listening skills made me feel truly heard, whilst she helped me identify my recurring problems, their trigger, and guided me through means of addressing them. In around twenty sessions of an hour, and three sessions of EMDR, I have come out equipped with the tools to identify and manage anxiety symptoms as they arise, instead of wishing them to go away and making them worse in the process. I have also learnt to address problems with clarity and method. I made notes in a small book that I now shall continue to carry around until I no longer need to refer to it.

Client feedbackDespite knowing that EMDR would be something that would help me to address some underlying PTSD I was frightened to relive and talk those difficult experiences. However Romina ensured I was well prepared, educated and psychologically ready before engaging in this process. During these sessions I was able to talk through these difficult experiences at my own pace following a compassionate and natural process − just guiding my mind in its own healing.
During our sessions Romina really helped me to articulate the origins of some deeply embedded patterns of negative thinking and behaviours which proved essential in enabling her to work with me to develop practical strategies for loosening their grip. I have learnt to recognise these unhelpful behaviours and I now have the skills to manage these.
Romina is patient and compassionate and her reliably astute observations allowed me to really stop and consider my perspectives in a way I hadn't before, I found this approach immensely helpful in my recovery.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Romina, she is knowledgeable, approachable and compassionate and I will be forever grateful for her helping me to find my smile again.

Client feedbackFrom start to finish Romina has been fantastic and quite honestly life changing for me. We started with CBT and some EDMR, I was scared at first, but as soon as we began, I realised there was nothing to be worried about. I was able to be completely honest, vulnerable and always felt safe within our sessions. I've learnt so much, not only about myself, but how to help anxiety and cope with other things throughout the rest of my life. From our very first session, I already was seeing positive changes in myself, I really couldn't believe it. My only regret would be not picking up the phone sooner and making my first appointment.

Client feedbackI contacted Romina in early February in regards to extreme anxiety which was causing major mental strain and an array of physical symptoms.
All the above was running my life, not sleeping, reluctant to mix or socialise, poor mood, and the major problem of all was Covid, it absolutely took over my life, constantly washing my hands, sanitising everything that moved, it became a major problem.
As stated above I contacted Romina in early February on a recommendation from a friend and because of Covid and restrictions the meetings were via Zoom which actually worked fine.
From the very first meeting with Romina I felt completely at ease, even though I was in a bad place, her calming manner and ability to put things in perspective made me feel less stressed.
Over the coming weeks Romina taught me relaxation techniques and how the brain triggers negative thought processes.
Romina sent me literature on many areas of Anxiety and mental help to read and use when needed, all the notes were invaluable and as the weeks went by I became far more relaxed and able to control my anxiety.
In conclusion, I'm now feeling better than I have been for many years, I strongly feel that I had probably been suffering from anxiety etc for over 20 years and just accepted it without trying to solve the problem So I can honestly say without Romina's help and support I would still be struggling with anxiety .
My therapy has now finished and I'm happier than I've been for many years and I sincerely thank Romina for that, and i would recommend anyone who has any mental condition and finding in difficult to cope to get in touch with her immediately.

Client feedback I cannot recommend Romina highly enough. In my time working with her, I have achieved more self growth than I ever could have imagined. Romina always provided me a safe and trusting relationship, sound advice, and excellent tools and skills which both supported and pushed me.
While I'm sure I'm not completely cured, I have learnt from Romina that healing is not a constant. And in leaving her, Romina has ensured that I can feel more than capable than ever to take on whatever life throws at me next. Client feedback After reaching a low point in my life due to stress and signs of anxiety and depression finding Romina turned my life around!
Despite the therapy sessions proving to be hard and at times very upsetting and difficult for me, Romina's kindness and ability to support and guide me through even the toughest parts made it all bearable! Her way of finding a different point of view and approach gave me the tools and necessary guidance to process traumatic experiences of the past through EMDR as well as providing valuable lessons on mindfulness, self compassion and kindness to help me overcome all my issues!

Client feedback I first contacted Romina in 2022 after a therapist friend recommended I look into EMDR for the anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia I had been suffering for 17+ years. I was sceptical that EMDR was the right solution as I didn't believe I had experienced anything traumatic in my life. However, the other treatments I'd tried previously - anxiety medication and two short courses of CBT - hadn't helped, so I was willing to try something different.
From the first time I spoke to Romina she made me feel completely at ease, and I went on to have around 25 sessions with her. I find it difficult to talk about myself but Romina made me feel safe and normal and that I was not being judged. We eased into the EMDR therapy very gently, via some CBT so I could learn to re-frame my negative thoughts, and some compassion-focused therapy to help me stop judging myself so harshly. The EMDR then surfaced some issues relating to emotional and physical abandonment in childhood, and I found these sessions extremely helpful in overcoming some of the damage these experiences had done to my sense of self-worth.
Romina also taught me a whole host of new skills to help me deal with my ongoing anxiety and regular panic attacks. After just a few sessions I already felt much better and I was able to enjoy doing things that I would previously have avoided, or that would have caused me to have panic attacks. These were simple things, like going out for a walk with my kids, or going to see my daughter perform in plays and concerts, that I would have found distressing previously. After several more sessions with Romina I found that I was doing things that previously my agoraphobia would have prevented me from doing, like driving for a relatively long time (two hours) in the car. After 17 years of constant anxiety it felt wonderful to be able to do these things without really even thinking about them.
I can't say that I'm completely free now of anxiety and self-criticism, but Romina has given me a lot of tools to help me re-frame negative thoughts and cope with anxiety-inducing situations, and these continue to make a huge and positive difference to my life. I would thoroughly recommend Romina to anyone, especially anyone who has felt let down by CBT before. A lot depends on the therapist, and Romina is by far the best therapist I have worked with.

Client feedback I would thoroughly recommend Romina for treatment. I contacted her when I was finding my anxiety was unmanagable for me. She listened to all my concerns and asked questions that made me think of possible causes that hadn't crossed my mind. Romina helped me to understand that anxiety is a normal response and went through lots of ways to manage my thoughts around my anxiety. We also used EMDR therapy to process some traumatic events that I had identified in my lifetime. Romina was great at explaining the process and I can't believe how much it has helped me feel better about certain things I didn't think I would be able to. Overall, I have learnt how to manage my symptoms and identify when things may be escalating, in order to prevent them getting worse. Prior to starting therapy I was off work, unable to go out and do my normal activities and feeling very overwhelmed about how to cope with everything. Now I have finished my treatment, I am back to doing my normal activities at ease and feel excited about my future.

Client feedback After a couple of traumatic life events and feeling the need to talk to someone, I was recommended to Romina by a friend. From the outset, Romina was kind, professional and immediately put me at my ease. The online nature of the sessions suited me, as I have a puppy and I could be comfortable at home with him during sessions. In addition, I found the EMDR part of the therapy extremely powerful and Romina's management of these sessions was excellent. I never came away from time with Romina without feeling better able to cope and somewhat lighter within myself. I can highly recommend Romina as being someone who helped me immensely during a very dark period in my life and I am so grateful to have found her. Client feedback Before starting therapy with Romina, I had been struggling with agoraphobia and near-daily anxiety attacks for over 15 years. I was convinced this would be with me for the rest of my life, especially as the two short courses of CBT I'd done hadn't really had any effect.
I was anxious about doing EMDR but Romina made me feel very safe and at ease from the start. It took many sessions of therapy to undo the impact of emotional neglect I'd experienced in childhood, which had led me to believe I was worthless and defective and an irritant to everyone I encountered. However, Romina's combination of EMDR and compassion-focused therapy worked, and I'm now miraculously free of the anxiety and agoraphobia that had dominated my whole life. I am incredibly grateful to Romina and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Client feedback During the period of lockdown I suffered terribly with OCD and a number of issues surrounding it. Since then, I recently made contact with Romina who provided me with structured and sensitive therapy delivered in a relaxed and humanistic way. She was able to furnish me with a new set of tools which would allow me to rationalise what was happening to me, whilst at the same time take events, feelings, and emotions, and pick them apart in a logical and positive manner.

Client feedback Working with Romina was a priceless experience for me. We firstly dealt with my depression and different ways I could process my emotions and different triggering situations. We focused on systems to help me better navigate my life along with mindfulness practices which help to keep me centred and greatly reduce my anxiety levels.
During the process we discovered that actually a lot of the confusion and frustration in life stems from me having ADHD which I had never considered. I have now been diagnosed and understanding the ADHD way of thinking makes it feel much more comfortable to be ME.
